Do I need to make a reservation? Yes, all reservations are made in advance online. We do not have an office, so showing up without notice will not guarantee a site.
What's the Cancellation Policy? For Campsites: Please provide 1 weeks notice for cancellations. Any cancellations made within 6 days will be charged 1 night's stay. For holiday weekends, please provide as much time as possible for cancellations. All reservations have the option of changing dates instead of canceling. Platform fee ($5) and credit card fees from booking can not be refunded. For Cabins: Unless otherwise stated on your booking website, a full refund (minus fees) will be issued if your stay is cancelled before 30 days, and no refunds will be made if cancelled within 7 days.
Do you offer discounts? The only discount we offer at the moment is for weekly and monthly stays (campsites only). Weekly rates are automatically applied when at least 7 nights are booked.
Are there different rates for monthly stays? Yes, to see and book a monthly stay, search exactly one month (for example: check-in July 5, check-out August 5) The monthly discount will automatically apply when a full month is searched. If you need to extend your reservation for longer than one month please send an email to topoftheworldrv@gmail.com with the desired end date. Cabins will not show up for a monthly stay, even if there is availability. Do cell phones work at the campground? The only service that works is AT&T. We do have wi-fi that you will have access to during your stay.
What type of RVs do you accommodate? As long as your RV has a working bathroom, you can camp.
Do you allow tent camping? Yes, but only when camping along with someone who has an RV since we don't have a bathhouse.
What are the sizes of the sites? All of our sites can accommodate up to 40ft RVs. Some sites can handle up to 55ft. Larger sites are listed as such.
What is the best site? There is no right answer to this question. Every site is different, and we have found that every guest desires something different. If you like a pull through site, site 2 is the only one. If you like shade, site 12 will make you happy. We try to have several pictures of each site to help answer these questions as well.
Do you a bathhouse? No, that is why a working bathroom is required to stay. What type of hookups are available? Every site has 20/30/50 amp service, water, sewer and Wi-Fi.
Is firewood available? We do have a firewood box with firewood available for purchase. A square is $10. You can pay with cash, check, Ca$happ ($TopoftheWorldRV) or it can be added to your reservation through your contactless entry link. Can I bring my own firewood? The simple answer is yes, however, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture enforces a policy to protect forests from invasive pests by preventing the movement of untreated wood. If the wood is not from the surrounding area it's not always safe to bring it.
What is a Pull-In Only site? Sites 17 & 19 require an RV that drives in to the site. This is not a pull through. These sites are designed for class A, B, & C Rvs. If you choose to back into one of these sites, please note that your hookups will be on the wrong side. *This is permitted as long as you have the hoses and cords to accommodate the distance.
What is the Buddy Site? Site 18 is designed for 2 campers to camp together. At least one camper needs to be a class A, B, or C RV. The two campers will face each other. This site can be booked for only 1 RV, you will have lot's of extra space.
What is the Group Site? The group site is designed so that friends can camp together. There are 4 full hookups on this site, and you can easily accommodate 4 full size RVS. Some guests have been known to have 2 small RVs share 1 hookup. We don't have a limit on how many guests or vehicles are in site one, as long as they fit without disrupting the grounds or causing damage. See the pictures for arrangement ideas.
Is there a laundry area? Yes, we have 2 sets of washers and dryers. Laundry is $5 per load. You can pay with cash, check, Cashapp ($TopoftheWorldRV) or it can be added to your reservation through your contactless entry link.
Do you have Ice? Yes, You can pay with cash, check, Ca$happ ($TopoftheWorldRV) or it can be added to your reservation through your contactless entry link.
Property Policies
Cabin Guests:
CHECK-IN time is after 4pm on the day of arrival, and CHECK-OUT time is before 10am on the day of departure. Failure to do this without Management's consent may incur additional fees. Check in/out time changes must be approved and could require a small fee.
Cancellations Unless otherwise stated on your booking website, a full refund will be issued if your stay is cancelled before 30 days, and no refunds will be made if cancelled within 7 days.
Occupancy Regular occupancy at Cozy Compass is 6 persons, Regular occupancy at Atlas is 4 persons, including children. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. Applicant must be 21 or older to stay at the cabin, and/or be approved by Management. Minimum stay is 2 nights. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR EVENTS without prior permission. No more than 6 vehicles (including motorcycles) at the house. Video Surveillance There are security cameras on the premises for the protection of our property.
Portable Pools & Spas Pools & spas are not to be set up on the property without prior consent. Certain fees may apply.
NO SMOKING ALLOWED except on patio, but not on the furniture (put out butts in porch container). Do not throw butts in the driveway or grass
Pet Restrictions NO Pets at Atlas When authorized at Cozy Compass, a one-time pet fee of $100 is required for bringing up to 2 dogs. NO CATS (Our housekeeper has an extreme allergy). Violators of these rules will automatically be assessed a $100 penalty. KEEP PETS OFF ALL FURNITURE AND COMFORTERS or an extra $75 damage fee will be assessed.
Children Minors (guests under 18) must be always supervised by an adult.
OUTDOOR FIRES are limited to the designated fire pit. Do not use fuel of any kind to start fires. Never leave fire unattended. Extinguish all fire/hot coals before leaving cabin. Be aware of fire bans.
NO HUNTING
DO NOT DISCHARGE FIREARMS in the area; this is a residential community.
Maid Service A one-time cleaning and housekeeping fee is included for all stays (rates subject to change). If housekeeper reports a messy cabin that requires additional cleaning, an additional cleaning fee may be charged to the card on file. Linens and towels are provided based on the number of guests. FEES: Possible fees (subject to change) - Pet Fee if authorized (max. 2 dogs – no cats), extra guest fee, laundry fee (if dry cleaning of bedding is needed), extra cleaning fee (if we are charged by our cleaner for excess cleaning), early check in fee (must be approved). You also agree to pay for any loss or damage caused by you or your party. All such expenses will be itemized, charged against your card or security deposit, and reported in writing.
LOSS OR DAMAGE Should any loss or damages be incurred during your stay (other than normal wear & tear), or terms of this Agreement are otherwise violated, management is hereby authorized to obtain equitable compensation, and pursue further damages as warranted.
REQUEST TO VACATE Because our rentals are privately owned, Management reserves the right to inspect the property if illegal or harmful activity is suspected. If evidence of such activity is found and occupants are asked to leave, they shall do so immediately (and forfeit any refund) or be subject to immediate eviction by local law enforcement without appeal.
LIABILITY Management is not responsible for any accidents or travel mishaps that occur on the property; or for any losses that may be covered by travel and health insurance.
RV Site Policies:

🌽 Corn Hole Boards We have a set of Corn Hole boards in the Laundry/Ice building. We leave these for your enjoyment. We ask that you please put them back in the building when your are finished with them so they don't get weathered... and also, please share 😊 Pet Restrictions No more than 3 pets allowed per site. All pets must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times. Pets may not be left unattended at any time. Tents Tents are allowed, as long as they are accompanied by a full-service RV. If you set up a tent in the grass, please move your tent one tent-length on your third day.
Speed Limit 2 vehicles per site (unless prior permission is given) Campground Staff reserves the right to limit additional vehicles per campsite. Vehicles must not block the road or adjacent campsite(s). Maximum 5 mph in the park at all times.
Laundry Machines Only clothing & small linens please (wash clothes and towels) as these are not industrial machines. Our machines are not made for large loads, please only fill halfway. No shoes, mats, pet beds, or excessively dirty items. There is a drop box for cash payments or you can make a payment through cash app ($TopOfTheWorldRV) if you wish to use a card. We use an honor system, so please be honest... we are doing this for your convenience. $5 for each load of laundry. (Load =1 wash & 1 dry)
Ice Machine Please do not allow children to play in the ice. There is a drop box to pay for ice or you can use the cash app. ($TopOfTheWorldRV) We use an honor system, so please be honest. $1 PER BUCKET
Fire Rings/ Grills Campfires are only permitted within fire rings. -Do not burn garbage -Do not dump ashes -Please clean grill after use. Please be aware of burn bans.
Firewood We do have firewood for sale next to the laundry room for $10 a square. Please pay cash in the drop box in the laundry room or using our cashapp: $TopOfTheWorldRV You may also add firewood to your reservation at checkout.
Fireworks Fireworks are not permitted on the campground property. During certain holidays there may be fireworks displayed nearby.
Fire Arms Discharging of fire arms is not permitted at any time.
Garbage Disposal All trash must be disposed of in dumpster. Dumpster is near the entrance of the park.
